Summarize the concept of Angry Birds could not be simpler: birds of different colors are catapulted by the player on structures made of different materials to remove the pigs they protect. Between each world, a picture tells us that we must also kill their king who stole the eggs of our dear little sparrows. A scenario that fits on a Post-it and that is, you will understand, a mere pretext to enter the happy world of our birds in fury. However, Angry Birds is far more complex and strategic as it sounds, and game mechanics are particularly well thought out. Initially, we note that we have available many varieties of birds. The reds are more classic and have no particular effect, while blue can be divided into three yolks to make a dive on their target, the black one sector explode and release an egg white explosive. No doubt, the means of achieving our goals are many, and direct assault against the pigs is rarely the best solution.
But that's not all, and the game pushes the vice further: if it is well launched, each of these birds is potentially powerful against a well-defined structure, such as yellow against the dark wood and cons stone. It will not only know their strengths and weaknesses to ensure that our piaf will crash to the ground against a wall without any damage, but also anticipate the next shots because it is not possible to change the order of catapulting birds. We must therefore make choices and what to destroy first. Also, the enemies all have a different resistance depending on their size and status: where a falling piece of wood can kill a small, it will be virtually ineffective against armored pig (with headphones) or against the king pig . Finally, the game is more complex that it manages the physics of materials with an extremely effective, as the impact point you choose, the entire structure can collapse like remain intact. So, outside of your choices impact the birds as you have, your accuracy will be absolutely crucial.
The whole point of Angry Birds and based around this very tactical decision, the ultimate goal being to get three stars (synonymous with an excellent score) in each level of the game, which, not to spoil, many more since at the time of this writing there are over a hundred (21 levels per world, in five different worlds). Technically, the developers have clearly opted for cartoon graphics and a world emphasizing "good child", the music reflected the main menu (which suggests, by far, a remix of the theme of "Cabbage Soup") and little cries of birds. All this has the effect of establishing an atmosphere frankly out of step with the seriousness and accuracy of the gameplay, which does not displease us. As strategic as it is, Angry Birds makes no attempt to hide its main purpose: to be a game fun, offbeat, original, but also incredibly addictive. And the least we can say is that the contract is completed. Note that a version with graphics iPad "HD" was released recently and qu'Angry Birds are also on the Nokia N900.
